Welcome to my BLOG, 'View from the Wings'. While I have been an actor at times and play several work related personas, mostly I am a technician. This has affected my view of the different productions I have been involved with musical, theatrical, gameing and software development. As the blog develops I may expand on those exeperiences.
Brocklin is one of the personas that will be hosting the blog. He is my longest running avatar, initially created for the paper & pencil game D&D in 1980, he has had many incarnations through the hstory of electronic gameing. About the time he was created I wrote my first 'Hello World' program using the 'Deep Blue C Compiler" on my Atari 800. I had already written several games using Atari Basic, mostly modifications based on published articles. Since that time I have written the equivalent of 'Hello World' in at least six languages and many application domains, so think of this as my 'Hello World' to the blogsphere.
